Burgees
The Calgary Squadron is building a burgee collection and would like burgees from other squadrons and yacht clubs from around the world. We have a policy where members can donate burgees from other squadrons or yacht clubs to the Calgary Squadron's collection. If you exchange a Calgary burgee for that from another club, and donate it to the Calgary Squadron's collection, you are eligible to have your original burgee purchase price refunded or receive another Calgary burgee. If you would like top donate a burgee, please contact the Squadron Burgee Curator, at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . See the CPS 'Boating' manual for instructions on how to fly your burgees on your boat. |

Volunteerism Volunteers are the lifeblood of any non profit organization. We are always looking for members who like to be involved with their Squadron. It is the committed volunteers who lend their experience and desire to the group who make it such a successful experience! Being involved is the best way to meet other boaters and make lasting life long friendships. Some of the activities that are available to be involved in around the Squadron include: · Boating instruction · Being a speaker at a monthly social or the spring banquet · Annual spring banquet organizing committee e.g. room setup, silent auction, etc. · Helping with the booth at the Boat and Sportsman show in February of each year · Assisting the Social Officer with the monthly socials e.g. door greeter · Contributing articles to web site. · Be a Bridge member and play a role in administrating the Squadron If you would like to explore any of these roles, or other activities you may have in mind, please contact our Squadron at This email address is being protected from spambots.
